The play station five is lighting fast! Yes, the speed surpassed many of the user’s expectations. Let’s take an example of the loading speed for “Spider-Man Miles Morales” from the main menu into the actual game itself is less than 3 seconds. Something insane considering how big and dense with detail miles Morales open world is.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The PS5 games are far better than they used to be in past generations, but any console hasn’t been appreciated that much so far, just for its incredible speed, how fast a game can load. From completely being shut off to jumping into the world of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Miles Morales took less than a minute. It is even faster when the system is in its rest mode.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The next highlighting vital feature of PS5 is the trophy system which recently underwent a math change. It works much better on PS5, and it allows you to compare your trophies with your friends at a much quicker and faster pace. It’s also accessible from various places both on a specific game basis and in the overall total.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The activities cards can help you know your progress on trophies for a game you’re amid of; even better yet, at least so far, the trophy snapshot works much better. Coming to Sound design & Dual Sense again;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The dual sense of play station five has been heavily marketed as having nuanced vibration and adaptive triggers. The innovations in sound design and use of the controller’s speaker or carry the immersive experience.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Similar to VR, when combined with the dual senses vibrations and generally smart sound design choices, one can create the feeling of skating across ice or walking on a lily pad.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The side still sides the power button and disk eject button, and despite being slightly different sizes, they’re still similar enough to mix up. This problem was also common in PS4, and sadly it still exists. Those who opted for the diskless version will be unaffected by this issue.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The next most highlighted issue raised in PS5 is the card system with a row of activities that appear while pressing the PS button during the game. It provides a bit of overload information, so it feels redundant, and you can check much of the info just as fast in the game’s menu, like how many collectibles you found. In contrast, other cards seem a bit frivolous.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another bummer is, there is no multiple games quick resume function like the Xbox series. The speeds so far haven’t made flipping between games a pain still; you can boot into various games in several different save states is a basic functionality we hope Sony must consider adopting.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
