How to Calibrate an iPhone Battery

Be reminded that the calibration process needs a lot of patience and determination as it needs few complete charging and complete draining of the iPhone battery to complete the procedure.

The good news is that you done have to use any out of market app or hardware to do that. If you see an app or anything to calibrate your iPhone’s battery is either a scam or useless. Its really easy to do with no extra help.

So, here are the steps.

Step 1: Drain iPhone Battery Completely

Let’s drain the iPhone battery completely. It can be done like regular usage routine, if you want to do it quickly that play some video with full audio.

Step 2: Wait Three Hours or so

Now the iPhone will turn off automatically but it still has some charge left in the battery its by default to save your running apps data. It critically important to discharge last bit of charge in it and the best way to do it is to wait atleast three to four hours longer the better. Overnight wait is ideal.

Step 3: Charge iPhone Again

Time to put charger back in the charging slot remember to use wall mounted 20W original apple charger and original cable.  When its shows 100% charged let it charge for 2 hours after that to be sure.

Step 4: Drain iPhone 2nd time

It’s time to repeat the 1st step and drain it completely. Out power iPhone by regular use or You Tube will help a lot in full volume to reach target early.

Step 5: Wait Three Hours or more

Now you have to repeat the same to put outpowered charge drained iPhone to rest for at least 3 hours or preferably overnight so no charge remains in the battery.

Step 6: Charge iPhone

Now recharge your iPhone to full and keep it on original 20W apple wall mounted charger using original apple cable for at least 2 hours more.

Congratulations your iphone battery is now calibrated.

Note: to achieve better results before starting the calibration please turn off automatic updates, Refresh in background and location services. Reducing your brightness to minimum level also proved to have good results.

Don’t forget to put all this back to normal when calibration is done.
